CNC Services
For manufacturing high-quality products
For SANDNER-Messtechnik GmbH, Computer Numerical Control is a synonym for a production system of the highest level. The state-of-the-art machining center is not only needed to produce in-house products, rather it is essential for all other production goods.
Besides conventional machining production methods, contactless metal processing methods are also used. Comprehensive utilization of processing technologies allows us to offer a broad spectrum of production options and variants. For the customer this is reflected in a product line that ranges from prototype builds to mass production and customized solutions.
Modern machinery and production equipment
Based on our excellent performance and competitiveness, combined with many years of experience, some turned parts are also produced by milling operations. This type of fabrication on a CNC turning machine is also called complete processing. It permits the production of complex turned parts, some of which need to be milled in a second work step, with just one turning process and at high volumes thanks to bar loaders.
Competitive prices can be offered given this advantage. For short setup times as well as small production runs, conventional as well as NC-controlled turning machines are available. In some cases, it is possible to process conventionally produced parts within 24 hours, depending on the complexity of the product. Production is split into two areas, subcontracting production and the production of in-house products.

Milling precision through state-of-the-art technology
Milling gives the workpiece its special form and structure. High precision and speed are the primary goals in milling, whether it involves complex workpieces or forming dies and matrices with 3D contours. The use of 5-axis control milling machines achieves the required precision by requiring just one workpiece fixturing. Advanced CAD/CAM programming techniques are used in the shop area for freeform surface milling.
That is why all machine tools with CNC controls are interfaced to the in-house network. Conventional milling machines still retain an important place in the machining center, not just for training purposes, but also for producing simple milled parts, single parts or test parts that must be provided to the customer without long setup times.

Surface finishing at the highest level
Grinding is a material removal finishing process used on workpiece surfaces, primarily made of metal. It is applied to achieve the highest levels of dimensional accuracy, form accuracy, surface quality, and parallelism, as well as low surface roughness.
During grinding, excess material is removed in the form of chips (grinding dust). Abrasive tools consist of microscopic mineral crystals that are bonded together with a binder to form grinding stones, grinding wheels, or abrasive belts.

Spark erosion material removal (EDM) by wire or formed electrode
Spark erosion permits processing of any electrically conductive material, regardless of its hardness or machinability. This method is therefore especially well-suited to executing difficult-to-produce concavities and through holes in hardened steels and hard metals. A distinction is made between spark erosion sinking and spark erosion cutting. Advantages of spark erosion:
- Sinks & through holes can be produced in hardened steels
- FForm and tolerance precision in producing fitted parts
- Uniform surface quality with good lubricant adhesion
- High erosion performance, even with hard materials and metallic materials that are difficult to machine
- No effects on material structure
