Sandner Messtechnik GmbH is a young yet well-established company whose roots date back to 1980. Initially, the business operated under the standalone name SANDNER. The steadily increasing share of measurement technology in the product range led to a logical renaming to SANDNER Messtechnik GmbH in 1988.
Continuous expansion has, to this day, been reflected in ongoing investment in development, manufacturing expertise, and capacity, ensuring the high quality standards essential for the market.
Today, Sandner Messtechnik GmbH is established as a supplier across a wide range of industries, including research and development, universities, aerospace, as well as the mechanical engineering and automotive sectors.

Innovation that moves – and relieves.
The image shows the first servo-controlled hydropulse cylinder, developed and tested in 1972 by the founder of Sandner Messtechnik GmbH, Rudolf Sandner, at Carl Schenk AG.
It depicts a simulator used at the Max Planck Institute. The aim was to optimize tractor and truck seat systems and thereby significantly reduce the strain on the spinal column of farmers and professional truck drivers.
Our production facility
On over 1,050 m² of production and storage space, we manufacture using state-of-the-art technology. Our hydraulic production is equipped with overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 8 tons and ensures maximum precision and flexibility.
Our location
Our company headquarters in Biebesheim am Rhein near Darmstadt offers excellent transport connections and short distances to our customers in the Rhine-Main region as well as throughout Germany.
